Traits: Wingless insect with three tail-like parts and long antennae, often covered with scales; chewing mouthparts; invertebrate animal

Habitat: Damp or moist litter and soil of forests and meadows; under bark of logs or under rocks

Foods: Decaying leaves

Eaten by: Centipedes, shrews, thrushes, ground beetles
